Car Club Picnic – Saturday 20 Sept 2025
Wednesday 17 September is the Last Day to Sign Up!
Picnic FlyersJust a few words regarding the Members Picnic at Lake Poway on Saturday, September 20, 2025!
If you’re not a Poway resident, there is a parking fee. No problem! The club has prepaid the parking fee, so just tell the ranger at the gate that your here for the Poway Cruisers Picnic in Gazebo Area 6, or the George Cowman picnic. Either should work.
In place of the Bingo game, we’ve got several games planned this year, with great prizes for the winners. Maybe work up a little appetite, or work off a big lunch.
As we’ve done in the past, we’ll have the parking area adjacent to Area 6 cordoned off and reserved for member’s hotrods, customs, and classics. There are 22 spots, with several marked for handicapped. The handicap rules are enforced, so remember to bring you placard.
We’ll have an area designated for pop up canopies. I’ll bring 3 10X10s, so we’ll need a few more. Do bring your own chairs.
The main entrees (burgers, brats, hot links, hot dogs, buns, condiments, plates, utensils) are provided by the club, everything else is pot luck so bring something to share, enough for 7-10 servings. Also, bring your own liquid refreshments. We will have electricity if the food needs to be kept hot.

It’s not too late to sign up for the picnic. The deadline to signup is September 17th so we have a good headcount for the groceries. Just go to the Events page of our https://powaycruisers.com website, select the Events label, click on the Poway Cruisers Picnic heading, and sign up. We’ve got plenty of room, and lots of food.
